Noel was very informative and customized our tour to our family. He knew everything about the area and was more than happy to share his knowledge. He knew everything about the Geand Canyon and everything between our VRBO and the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend.

We traveled with Ed from our hotel in Peoria (a plus) to Montezuma Castle National Monument. Ed got the tickets then stayed with the van while we toured the grounds. It was amazing. It's hard to believe there was a multi-room castle built so high up on the cliffs. Ed pointed out the area had flooded the week prior from the winter snow melt. Looking at the debris in the high in tree tops, we now understood why they built the castle so high up. From there we went onto Sedona. Again congested and no where to park. Once again Ed dropped us off and keep circling while we explored the area. It was a beautiful site, great pictures. Then onto the church in the Mountain. It was extremely busy and congested. Ed mentioned several items we would want to take note of, dropped us off at the front door and drove around while we looked and took pictures. At the appointed time Ed picked us up and we continued our journey. Otherwise, we would have been setting and waiting to get one of the limited parking spots. The road in was narrow and curvy with lots of traffic. My wife said she was glad Ed was driving. Me too, I did not have to hear "your to close to the edge, slow down, they are stopping" and the imaginary passenger brake is thankful as well. Ed pulled into an overlook area commenting that it is hit or miss if the Navaho Indians would be there or not. To my wife's delight they were. After several purchases of beautiful Navaho art work, I finally said your done. I told Ed she spent his tip. We laughed. On to the grand canyon. Ed knew just what to do to avoid the long lines to get in. Once inside, Ed point out a few items we would want to take in, especially the galley presentation. Ed told us the artist were from Pittsburgh, PA., which is close to our town. Ed made himself available to take pictures of us, along the canyon trail. The scenery was just breath taking. On the way back to the hotel we saw about 6 or 7 herds of Elk and possibly some Antelope which was the icing on the cake. It was along day, starting at 7:30 AM and going until 8:00 PM. I am glad we had a driver, as I do not drive at night and I did not have to argue with my wife of 29 years. Ed was a real trooper. After he dropped us off, he still had an hour drive to get home.

You can plan your own driving tour of the Grand Canyon. I f you go from March to October the weather is usually good, and you can stay at your favorite spots longer. There are National Parks Service Guide books for self guided tours.

This reviewer did not experience our tour service. This review is an opinion about taking tours versus driving yourself. This reviewer wrote one review, and it was removed by TripAdvisor, as the reviewer was not a customer. The first review claimed that the experience was in November. It pointed out that you could buy a travel guide for $5.95 and drive yourself. This review claims the experience was in October. We are a small business that is here to provide a service to visitors that do not want to go on their own. The service provided by ALL tour outfitters like ours, anywhere in the world, is a very valuable service for visitors. The convenience of being picked up at your location, taken to all the best spots without having to wonder if you are seeing those best spots, the suggestions we make regrading photos, food, where to buy gifts, where to see history, where to see the sunset.... all of those little tips are just a small part of what makes a tour worth while. The information that our guides have about the Southwest and the Canyon, and all the other spots here in Arizona, is also very valuable and a lot of people enjoy that sort of thing. I have no issue with people buying a guide book and driving on their own. I am myself that type of traveler. I would bet that every person in the world that ever started a tour business, was a do-it-yourself using a guide book type person. Now, we are writing the guides. I have had potential guests inquire about tours, and I can sometimes tell they might be better suited to go on their own... and I have given them suggestions on which route to take and sent them on their way. Everyone knows that guide books exist. I do not know what else to say about this review.
