Pythian Castle

After check-in, guest enjoy castle lobby. Then our experienced guides set the scene with history and previous photographic evidence. Encouraging you to capture your own along the way. They continue through the castle trying to elicit spirits with various historical triggers. EVP's sessions will take place as well as prior EVP's captured will be shared. Tour includes ballroom, basement, POW cells, tunnel, dungeons and more.

The building is interesting and worth a visit but the ghost tour was very hokey and silly. The tour guide wasn’t very interesting and not very believable in his stories it was just ok

My family and I have visited the castle several times and have always had a wonderful time. We've done the history and ghost tours and escape rooms. There is so much history here and the owners have done a wonderful job refurbishing the castle. I have seen a few bad reviews, which in my opinion could have been avoided if people would visit their website and read about the castle. The owners live at the castle..it is their home. You must attend a tour or event to visit the castle. It's not open for you to just drive up and take pictures whenever you want and I think that's where people get upset and leave nasty reviews. The only times you can visit is during a tour or if you book an escape room. The road leading to the castle opens 30 minutes before an event starts and is then closed. The owners have their own lives to live when they don't have tours going on, so you can't just drop in and visit whenever you want. They have been kind enough to open their home for people to visit and share it's grand history, so if you want a pleasant visit, know what times are available for you to see the castle and understand it's their home and you are a guest. The tours are fantastic, you will learn the history of the castle and if you're into the paranormal, there's a tour for that as well. We have always had a wonderful time when we've visited. Please don't read into the reviews of people being run off by a mean woman when they didn't do their homework and were there when they shouldn't have been. Give this place a chance, hear the rich history, see the beauty that lies inside and you might see a ghost from the past as well.

Awesome tour. Lots of history behind this castle. Cindy, our tour guide was amazing. The rooms they take you through are beautiful, except for tunnels..
