On our daughters' first visit to San Francisco (ages 9 & 12), we booked a reservation with Beth on the City Clues tour and couldn't have spent a better morning - immersed in Chinatown and North Beach. Beth's expertly coordinated efforts guide family interaction, authentic discovery and ensure that you notice things you would NEVER have experienced on a casual stroll. HIghlights included watching fresh fortune cookies being made, visiting various merchants, tasting dragon eyeballs, exploring architecture and interacting with people and climbing Lombard Street to it's breathtaking view. Beth couldn't have put more personal energy and care into creating an enjoyable experience for everyone on our tour and even welcomed our pup to join the fun.

We booked a family scavenger hunt tour the first day that we arrived in SF and it was a perfect way to start the vacation! There was so many hidden treasures, fun little games, and enough variety that kept my whole family entertained for 3.5 hours (which is not an easy task!).

City Clues Adventures is a perfect way to tour the different neighborhoods of San Francisco. Our two kids (7 and 9) loved visiting so many hidden gems: like the Chinese Temple (somewhere I never would have known I could enter). The friendly competition of the scavenger hunt certainly kept the kids (and the parents) motivated. The day was fantastic day. Beth was a great guide. Her knowledge and enthusiasm (and patience) were fantastic. We would recommend this tour to anyone (adults and children alike). Bring your sneakers...there are many hills to climb. Loved it!
