This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

We did an intro dive with Mike from NeverDry - what a totally awesome experience!! We were turned away by a different place because they didn't have any availability while we're here on Maui but I'm so thankful because after a little more researching, we found NeverDry. Mike was an AWESOME instructor. He is super friendly, down-to-earth, thorough and most of all extremely patient. I didn't take to the experience as quickly as I thought I would but he never once pushed me - he made me feel calm and safe and never like I was being a nuisance (even though it came to my husband much easier and quicker). We took as long as I needed to get fully acclimated to the new sensations and in the end, it probably saved the entire experience for me as I was about to give up but he kept reassuring me that I was doing great and that I'd get it and he was right - after a little practice, it totally clicked. He took tons of pictures that I'm excited to add to our vacation album. I would absolutely, without a doubt, recommend everyone use this company - you will definitely not regret it. Totally awesome experience - thanks again Mike!!

Michael and Jenny (owners) are the most friendly outgoing,and helpful people that we met on our honeymoon on Maui. My wife was not sure she could do the dive but Michael took time from his day. the day before our dive, to bring the equipment to his own home and pool and give her a private lesson (at no charge) so she was more comfortable in the water and gear, We made the dive the next day together!!!! We had a absolutely great time. Thank you Michael and Jenny! We will be going back to Maui to dive again with Never Dry Divers.

Michael was a great dive instructor that took lots of great diving pictures of my husband and I. I'm so glad my husband and I got to experience such a fun adventure together. The price was also very reasonable! Highly recommend.
