So good, we stopped by on a road trip through the USA and didn’t regret this stop at all. We’re an adult couple and loved it, if we were kids and think we would have lost our actual heads with excitement. We went early (9am), well worth getting up early to beat the crowds. By the time we left (1pm) it was heaving.

The tram tour was nothing more than driving around looking at what looked like office buildings. The rocket park was the highlight, just to see them in person, but that was it. There were 6 of us including a 5 and 7 year old. Apparently the play area is no longer there and they have some little angry bird games, half of which did not work. We had planned on a day here and left after 2 hours. I guess I expected more from a place connected with NASA. Not for kids and not inexpensive. They might want to go visit the Museum of Natural Science to see how it's done. I can't even imagine why anyone would want to be a member here.

My husband and I visited as part of a Texan road trip from Ireland this summer. My husband in particular loves aerospace but we both really enjoyed the experience. The main exhibition hall is, as others have suggested, is quite child-focused and busy. Though I do think many of the exhibits were interesting. The most interesting parts of the visit were the tours to the rocket park and mission control. Mission control in particular was the best part of our visit- it’s historically important and the presentation included was extremely involving. The tours are included for free with your ticket- the best thing to do is download the app before you arrive and book the tram tour tickets as soon as you get there. I would recommend booking the white tour as soon as you can so you don’t miss out. Arriving early is also recommended - despite my advice we visited the rocket park (red tour) first and early in the morning (around 10.30am) with minimal other visitors. An hour later the place was very busy. We were lucky to get a place on the white tour as a result. Praise for the staff who managed very well the delays in the tours due to bad weather (lightning storms!). And the volunteers staffing the exhibits were so enthusiastic. Food was pretty good with some healthy options gratefully received. Parking was more than ample but we arrived at 10am. Overall glad we didn’t miss this experience and again, I’d advise everyone to prioritise the white tour/tram to mission control as this was absolutely the best bit.
