Experience the thrill of catching a wave on Oahu’s North Shore, known worldwide as a surfing mecca. Head to Haleiwa and learn the basics from a licensed surf instructor who stays by your side, ensuring you catch gentle but rideable waves. Beginners, hang loose — your 2-hour lesson takes place in a protected cove at Haleiwa Beach Park, safely away from larger ocean swells. Choose from multiple options: group, semi-private or private family lesson in the morning, midday or afternoon.

This is the second time that I have taken a surf lesson with NSSG's. I was not disappointed. Both times the instructors have been great and the lesson awesome. This time it was with my adult brother and his girlfriend. With the instructors excellent instruction we felt safe the entire time and actually got to ride several waves. Several other people out there were unable to get up despite lots of trying. The excellent instructor truly makes the difference. If you want a surf lesson or just want to try it don't waste your time going anywhere else and just book here.

Braden and Saudi (hope I got the spelling right!) were so patient. I got up 7 out of 9 runs. The teacher makes all the difference. I recommend this if you are looking to take surf lessons on the North Shore of Oahu.

at first i was a bit unsure, but i've never had more fun and caught a wave the 2nd time out, thanks to the awesome instructor Lindsay. I will certainly take a lesson from her again.
