Just returned from viewing The Petersen's Bluegrass at the Little Opry Theatre. What a wonderful show, and what a fantastic show for all the family. There is so much talent on the stage all at one time. Ellen is one of the finest banjo players in the country, Katie is great on the violin, Matt makes the guitar talk. Mom plays the standup base, and can also play the mandolin really well. Dad shows up on the electric piano, and the youngest, yet very talented Julie Ann plays the mandolin. All members of the family have magical voices. If you wish to laugh, have fun, yet hear great bluegrass music, this is a must see show. Great for all the family!! Many of the songs sung were written by the family members. Get up, get down to Branson and enjoy The Petersen's in concert.

If you love bluegrass as I do, this show is for you. Crystal clear voices and clean picking, foot tapping instrumentals. Mom plays the bass and the kids play banjo, fiddle, guitar and mandolin. The girls sing like angels and the harmonies are heart warming. The dobro player (not a family member) is just spectacular, as well. We bought a couple of CDs and played them all the way home back to Texas. Will certainly catch them again next time we are in Branson.

If you like bluegrass and excellent gospel don't miss the Petersen's. We would travel 200 plus miles to see this group.
