Le catamaran Mana Kai a été construit en 1977 par William Brown à Honolulu, Hawaï. Inspiré par son père - garçon de plage de Waikiki et légende du surf, de la voile et de l'envolée Woody Brown, qui a construit le tout premier catamaran des temps modernes (Manu Kai).

Trip - 5/27/22- SO SO SO MUCH FUN! We had a Blast! We saw a lot of Turtles and Fish! I wanted to see an Octopus like they show online but apparently you won't, too rare. It's ok. The Captain, wife and son were just Awesome. The young blonde girl who was helping this tour, she was from another boat but was helping... Was Incredible! My cousin, who cannot swim became so comfortable with her that she actually let her bring her out and snorkel. Then my 79yr old mother did the same! (She was always willing though.. cannot hold a Beautiful, Beach/Ocean lover like her down!) Many Mahalos to the crew! "Mahalo no ka hana ʻana i kēia huakaʻi nani"!

Pickup right on Waikiki beach was super convenient for us and a big plus. Going through the waves in and out was fun. Max of 25 people kept the group smaller and appreciated this. Boat was nice, crew was friendly but felt only as much as they had to be. Might just be laid back attitude. The turtle canyon area is a total cattle call area with boats and snorkelers from many outfits there. Not sure if lucky or normal but we did see a lot of turtles. At one point I could count seven at once. Coral was in bad shape but not surprised. The Japanese tour group was obnoxious with the tour guide yelling the entire time. All said we’d do it again. Note if you have younger ones they will get cold and not want to stay out long in the water.

We saw plenty of turtles. Everyone had a great time. Our group consisted of varying levels of snorkeling experience.
