This was a great trip telling the story of the Battle of Franklin through the eyes of three families and the houses (which we visited) that they lived in. It was really bought to life by the guides at the houses and the tour driver. It was a small group of about 10 of us which means there was time to ask questions and really explore the houses. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.
A series of three visits to three buildings at the centre of one of the least known but viciously fought encounters of the later stages of the conflict. Effectively an integrated series of tours with a break for lunch. Three impressive well informed guides who showed genuine enthusiasm for their subjects. Augmented by a friendly knowledgeable driver.
This was a superb tour - the driver picked us up on time and was knowledgeable and willing to share info while traveling to our destination. The plantation was a great tour and , the Lotz House tour w/TJ was super .
It would have been nice to be dropped off in town to have lunch - instead of at a shopping center where there were 2 restaurants but ones we have @ home. When on vacation we enjoy trying local fare (ribs, BBQ etc) otherwise we would recommend VIATOR to friends and family
