Most tours include two guides, a husband and wife team who are skilled, award-winning Nature & Fine Art photographers. You get lots of personal attention and guidance, and tours are customized to the types of photography and natural locations that interest you the most.

My teenaged daughter and I joined this tour on our trip and had so much fun! We visited several waterfalls and learned new techniques. The overlooks on the blue ridge parkway was a great way to end the tour. Chris and Bonnie are very organized and skilled photographers. Highly recommend.

I had lots of fun out with Chris and Bonnie this past Saturday. They showed me some great waterfall and stream locations. I had fun trekking down to a couple of them and rock hopping. I didn't realize how good I had already gotten with my photography, so they weren't able to teach me a lot that I didn't already know, but they were able to give me a lot of tips that really helped further improve my sills, and I'm grateful for that. If you're wanting to improve your photography, or just want to see some great locations to photograph, Ashville Photo Tours is a great way to go.

I can’t tell you have much we enjoyed our time with Chris and Bonnie. As folks who have had an ongoing interest in photography but lacked some basic skills and confidence, we couldn’t have been more delighted with our experience. They took us from where we were, listened intently, and moved us to the next level of really loving this art form. With every new nugget they offered, we practiced and learned 10 more things. From Chris’s gentle, “Have you considered...” to Bonnie’s, “Look for the hero!” they were more than we could have hoped for to not just capture the beauty of these mountains but to give us the encouragement to keep going. We are so thankful for our time together!
