We had a great time when we get to the creek we get out and try to hand at panning for gold. Afterwards we plucked out or gold flakes into a small vile. Then return to town. Will definitely do again.

Sterling was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and worked to ensure our experience was a good one. We all had a chance to pan for gold, found gold, and brought it home. Nice short excursion that gets you outside and learn a little history about Juneau.

Our guide, Sterling was very pleasant and informative. The history lesson which accompanied the practical exposure to panning for gold was worth every penny. The excursion felt like it was a little rushed. The hour and a half passes quickly. Time flies when you are having fun.
