Had an amazing day of kayaking and exploring hot springs with our guide Xander and another couple. We went into a steam cave that was a fun experience. The water was cold and refreshing and amazingly clear. Xander went above and beyond. He even played his native flute during our lunch. Really an outstanding experience in 100+ degrees. Highly recommend.

So great to hear you had a magical day on the full day Hoover Dam tour. It really is filled with all elements; adventure, serenity, hiking, paddling, relaxing, and the utmost beauty by the dam and all the way down the Black Canyon. First of all, this tour takes 7 hours. All that time in 100+ degree in the sun. The first part of the trip is fun, the second half is boring as heck where all you do is kayak down the river. The visits to the hot springs and other shore adventures were fine, but after lunch, its just paddling back to the end. The guide didnt say much, when he did, it was very low and very few of us could hear it. Also, the trip starts from the base of Hoover Dam, dont believe you are going to see much of the Dam, just the wall. its a 45 minute ride from Vegas and while you may get an Uber/Lyft to take you there from Vegas, they are NOT going to pick you up once there unless you reserve ahead of time. It took us 2 hours to get a ride back as none of the share ride companies would go and the local taxi companies were very unresponsive. Overall, if it was half the time, it would be OK, but 7 hours is too long and its boring. Lastly, dont do this unless you are in relatively good shape, some of the adventures a shore involved heaving rock climbing thru rivers, also the paddling is exhausting after so many hours. Something they dont really tell you.
