Captain Sheldon was awesome and the day was a lot of fun and we even had a pod of Dall porpoises entertain us. I am local to Ketchikan and would recommend this trip over any others!

Took the tour to Misty Fjords. It was amazing! Went on the Coastal Cruiser. The ride out and back is 1.5 hours each way but you see the beauty of Alaska the entire time. Once you arrive at the Fjords it is breathtaking. Alex our Captain did a great job pointing out the highlights and showing us things to marvel at. He is a Ketchikan, born and raised so knows a ton of interesting things about it as well. The boat held 6, seating was comfortable and it is heated if needed. It was misting almost our entire ride and it didn't matter at all. Small group made conversations and questions easy! Highly recommend!

Alex was a wonderful guide, especially in terms of amount of time actually spent in The fjord. End of tour was a near disaster however. Ketchikan has 5 docks for cruise Ships, 3 right downtown but the other 2 nearly 10 miles away, including our dock. Due To utter confusion downtown with 5 ships in port, we got on board the wrong shuttle Bus and by the time we realized our error, the right shuttle had stopped running and Cabs are hopeless. A very kind lady saved us by giving us a lift in her car, and we got to our ship less than 5 minutes to spare. If you book this trip, don’t finish it downtown if you are docked at the remote pier.
