Zim has made using my SLR enjoyable again! She simplifies the SLR enough that I am finally able to concentrate on the quality of the composition of a photo and not be so focussed on the technical aspects of photography. You cover so many sights on the tour and Zim is full of interesting facts from her many years in the city ( although this is not a history tour!). She is very passionate about he subject and always happy to answer any questions about photography whatsoever- my group only consisted of one other student which was brilliant! This experience has left me keen to start to use my SLR more in the future- I will definitely be booking another tour next time I’m in the city. Thanks Zim!

Zim took my family of 4 along with 4 others are 2.5 hour trip through the city. Along the way we stopped to photograph icon buildings (Empire State, Rockefeller, etc) and the subway. She taught us about shooting strategy and how to best utilize our cameras (we had 4 different models/brands). Most importantly, she gave us immediate feedback so we learning in a very productive environment. Zim was very personable and a joy to spend time with during a chilly morning in NYC.
