My husband and I enjoyed our Road to Hana tour immensely! It was so nice to be picked up at our resort and dropped back off in the evening. My husband appreciated not having to do the driving -- it was nice that both of us could just sit back and enjoy the amazingly beautiful sights on this one-of-a-kind road. Our tour guide, Daniel, was fantastic! He made sure that all of us on the tour had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. He did an awesome job narrating throughout the tour but also made sure that there were times where we could just listen to some music (enjoyed his selections!) and chill along the way. He always encouraged us to pipe up with questions even when we were just listening to music. Daniel was so knowledgeable on so many different subjects! It is obvious that he takes pride in doing a good job for Valley Isle Excursions, and we really felt fortunate that he was our guide. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend Valley Isle Excursions -- the whole experience was wonderful, and it is well worth it!!

We took the Road to Hana tour. Apa was our Driver and Guide. He blended history and culture with insightful information of the Road to Hana and surrounding area. He stopped at all the key spots enroute allowing everyone ample time to take photos, swimming at Black Sand Beach and the Three Waterfalls. The Hulli chicken at lunch was amazing and cooked to perfection. At the beginning of the trip we were explained the meaning of Ohana (family) introducing each of ourselves. At the end of the tour you felt Ohana. On the route back, there was a young couple whose rented Jeep had broken down. Apa stopped our tour bus and asked if they needed any assistance. At the start of the tour up to Hana we came around a bend to find a police car attending to a vehicle that had taken the curve too fast and ended up on a guard rail that prevented the passengers in vehicle from going over the cliff. For this reason alone in addition to the wonderful experience with Apa and Valley Isle I recommend Valley Isle for the Road to Hana tour.
