Our introduction to whitewater. This 5.5 mile stretch of river has more to offer in whitewater excitement and adventure than any other section of the entire Rogue River, and nobody knows it better or provides more fun and safety than Noah’s guides and crew. This trip departs Ashland once a day, seven days a week, when four or more river enthusiasts are ready to go. Guests leave the Ashland area by 10:30 a.m. and return approximately by 3:30 p.m.

Minimum age is 7-8 yo based on size and experience

Our favorite part of the intro to rafting trip was doing it with our son, his wife and our grand children. It was a great family experience. Ryan, our guide was really good with the kids and informative about the river so they learned a lot about the Rogue and rafting. I cannot say enough about how qualified and skilled he was on the river. Even though the air was smokey from the fires, it was better on the river and not a problem. This is a wonderful rafting experience for the first time rafter, and for children. Just the right amount of white water, and an interactive experience for everyone. Exceeded our expectations !!!!

It was a super fun trip. Our guide was Trevor and he's funny and experienced. Chips, salsa, hummus, and watermelon were provided during the break. Dry bags and drinking water (bring your own bottle) were also available. We can't wait till the next time for a more challenging rafting experience! Suggestion for rafters: The day we went was really hot so I wish I wore a long-sleep sun-block shirts with hoodie.

This was my fourth time with Noah’s and they never fail. The river is always changing, so each trip is a bit different. The classes of rapids run from #2 to #4 …something for everyone. I can’t say enough positive things about our guides, Ryan, Zhenda and Max. Safety was their main priority, but each of them was informative and friendly. Next time, I’m planning to go on the full day trip on the Upper Klamath. Our thanks to Noah’s and to Ryan Zhenda and Max.
