Our family visited San Antonio over New Years and had a fantastic time. We visited the Tower of Americas first during the day. It was an okay experience and something that may be better at night to see the lights of the city. The next day we did the Hop On Hop Off bus tour. Hearing the history of the city was informative and being able to hop off and see the sights was perfect with our kiddos. The River Walk Cruise was fantastic. Our tour guide was exceptional and entertaining. He made our cruise enjoyable. We would definitely do the River Walk Cruise again.

We took the bus tour without getting off on our first day to get our bearings and decide what we wanted to see. Then used it for places that were too far to walk. Had a very interesting and informative bus driver the first time, not so much after that. Had a very nice boat tour and saw a part of the river that we hadn't walked yet. Only complaint is that there is no will call for people that purchase tickets ahead on Trip Abvisor. You still have to wait in line behind everyone trying to plan their trip and buy their tickets. Go early or the wait could be hours!!

The Rivercruise has been one of the highlights of our visit. We went at night. The lights were stunning as they reflected off the water. We had a great guide too! The Bus Tour was fair - the Tower was disappointing. They showed a different movie than they had scheduled, and we were grouped with an obnoxious tour group of middle or high schoolers who wouldn't be quiet. Our family of 4 was unable to sit together as the tour group rudely pushed ahead of us.
