My husband, an accomplished swimmer, and I, a swimmer, though not strong, thoroughly enjoyed the morning snorkeling experience. We got a lot for our money. A very nice breakfast was served including assorted breads and muffins with fresh fruits, muffin pan omelets, juice, coffee and water. It was quite well done. Crew handled administrative, instructional, and safety duties quite well. Bathrooms are available on board. Reef friendly sunscreen is provided and plentiful. Do not bring your own. As they say, save yours for the pool. Equipment is in good condition and easily used. Flotation devices and tubes are provided. Slides and diving (jumping) platforms are fun for all ages, and crew acts as lifeguards at those stations to insure area is clear of swimmers coming in towards boat. Crew is vigilant while still friendly as they instruct and maintain safety. Protection of the reef is stressed, and a naturalist is on board to share informational video, elaborate, and answer more questions. The enticing aroma of charcoaled burgers and hot dogs lure snorkelers back for lunch. Chips, pasta salad, fresh cucumber pickles, onions, sprouts, and condiments round out the fixings. Great lunch and break from water. A bar is also provided for additional cost on return trip. Time permits more snorkeling before heading back to dock. When the time was up, I did not want to return. The beautiful bay bordered by lava rock cliffs is a wonderful haven for fish of every kind. Our cruise included several children with youngest around 4 (quite a fish) and school aged children, teens, senior citizens, and even at least one octogenarian. Every person on board participated in the water!!! One man commented that if someone did not enjoy this experience, then nothing would make them happy. I strongly agree! We would do it again!!!
