Great for seniors. Use the monorail if possible to get to the meeting location at the Linq ride. It’s off the strip on the backside of the Linq and Flamingo hotels. There’s no real food nearby nor drinks except for a liquor store and a small food court with bad food within a .25 mile walk round trip, so don’t expect to get in line and go grab food easily. Get there an hour early to get on the first bus. They have about 4-6 buses and on a Sun night they had about 150 ppl registered plus walk ups and there’s only room for about 48 ppl per bus. So get there early, they say checkin at 6:30 and we got there at 6:15 and there was already a line of about 50 ppl. The bus ride starts on the strip and goes north and south and thru the arts district and let’s you off at Fremont st in downtown Las Vegas for one hour which is like 3rd st in Santa Monica CA but all night life. The shopping is mostly cart vendors and some souvenir shops, some restaurants inside casinos and tons of bars all along the walkway and street performers. Also there’s a sky glide thing that you can ride face down from one end to the other. You go back to the bus at the Golden nugget entrance and ride back to the Linq, this part is uneventful so if you want to stay at Fremont longer just grab a Uber or cab as you won’t miss anything. Cool way to see the city and take photos at night and go downtown. Great for seniors but you will have to walk at Fremont so be prepared.
