Best experience ever. If you visit Charleston you have to go on a ghost tour. Our tour guide was awesome.

This tour was a complete joke. Firstly the very young tour guide had lived in Charleston less than a year and his immature delivery (the word “like” was used 5 times per sentence) of the stories offered absolutely no credibility. The stories were badly delivered from an even more poorly concocted script. Secondly, since this is an organized tour some of the sites mentioned cannot be visited to reduce disruption to local residents. We would have been better picking up the free local building guide and we would have been able to walk right up to, and visit the buildings described in the stories. My partner and I lasted approximately 25 minutes into the scheduled 90 minute tour before realizing that the best we could do was salvage the 65 minutes we would no longer waste of the precious time we had in Charleston. We dropped off the tour. Hiring out of town students to sell Charleston folklore this way might seem like good business for Bull Dog Tours - It’s frankly nothing short of a tourist trap. Spend your money elsewhere enjoying Charleston’s culture.

He shows much promise and we will continue to work with him, to make his tour better and more pleasing in your sight. We believe in him and we do not think our hopes are misplaced. Panning the young is not new. Every generation tends to hold the next in disdain, and yet they are our future. We respect your opinion and your right to express it, but he is ours and we are proud to have him on our team. You experienced less than a third of his tour. We would like to think that your impression may have changed had you at least followed him into the graveyard, which is the highlight of the tour.
