This was the highlight of our four days in Chicago. The architecture along the river is breathtaking, and our amazing tour guide Susan brought it all to life. The ninety minute ride along the main branch of the river, the north branch, the south branch and back was just the right length. All of the seats on the upper deck provide great views. The boat conveniently leaves from the south bank of the river at the corner of Michigan and Wacker, so it is near many of the city's main attractions. They have several boats and frequent departures. The commentary provided wonderful insights into the history of the city and its evolving architecture. This is absolutely a must to make any visit to Chicago complete.

We really enjoyed the boat tour. Our guide, Jim, was friendly, knowledgeable about structural and artistic theme in architecture, and a very interesting testing story teller for the trip. And we were most amazed how the riverfront changed and the feel of the area was enhanced by the architectural changes and development of the wonderful river walk. Definitely a sore not to be missed.

By far the highlight of our trip. I underestimated how much I would enjoy this tour, a majority of which is owed to Antonio, our guide. He shared a wealth of information about Chicago and its history in a very entertaining way. It made for a top notch experience. I was geeking out about architecture by the end it and that’s not something I’ve ever said before. A must do in Chicago !!
