I had a great time on the Early Access Food Tour learning about Pike Place Market and sampling local food. Kat was a terrific tour guide, who was enthusiastic and eager to share her knowledge about the market's history. The eight stops we made provided a good variety of food (plus coffee and tea) and was quite filling. Each sample was delicious! Overall a great way to spend a Sunday morning!

I took the VIP tour because I needed to leave the city early. Kate, our tour guide, was great, funny, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. However, I wouldn't recommend this tour. We were supposed to have "12+ tastings", ended up have less (probably around 8 or so). Some of the dishes we got the taste (the three type of smoked/jerky salmon, and the fruits) were offered as free tastings to any visitor in the market, so we ended up paying $65 for tasting 5 or 6 dishes. I always take food tours and this is the first one I do not recommend.

We’ve designed this tour to replace a full meal across the 8 stops we visit, with a total of 12 tastings, but we understand that each guests measure of fullness can vary. As a small, local business we strive to create experiences that are fun and filling, but also a great value for you and we take it very seriously when a guest does not feel that they had that experience. First, our guide Mark was awesome. Humorous, knowledge, and flexible with the schedule. The food and beverage selections were spot on.
