This tour really opened my eyes to the history and the struggle of the Castro. Harvey Milk, along with countless others, paved the way for our freedom today. We still have a long way to go, but this tour was an inspiration that no contribution is too small and we all can make a difference. The Castro is such a warm and welcoming place. A reminder that there is good in this world. Katy was wonderful

Simply put, I joined Trip Advisor so I could give this tour five stars... that's how much I'm recommending it. The walking tour was unlike any tour I've been on before. It's around 2 hours so you take you really take your time taking in the surroundings. The tour guide Kathy is fun, friendly and above all else, extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Castro. What's unique about this tour is that although you're taken on a direct route through the district, it doesn't feel like your simply going through the motions. Discussion is encouraged so you really get to know the rest of the group. This tour was undoubtedly one of the clear highlights of my 2-week San Francisco trip. Simply put, go on this tour. You will not regret it.

I was very excited about the walking tour. It was to be the high point of my San Fransisco vacation. Kathy, the tour guide met my expectations. She did a wonderful job presenting the Castro district. She's informative and presented a real earnest and love for a neighbourhood she has a great affection for. I had wondered the neighbourhood a few days before but Kathy showed us hidden gems that beats at the heart of the district. Thank you Kathy for sharing the love.
