Tour of Warrenton

Обзор
Experience the best of Warrenton with our guided tour! Our tour is like a hop-on-hop-off experience but with the added assurance of staying together as a group to ensure you make it back to your next destination on time.

This is the location where the ocean and the river collide to create the most treacherous sandbar in the world, known as the Pacific Graveyard.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle. As a token of appreciation for reducing plastic waste, you will receive a sand dollar.

We will stop at Fort Clatsop National Memorial for approximately 30 minutes. Then, we will show you where High Life Adventures Zip Line/ Axe Throwing is. After that, we will drive to a place where you can buy tuna, crab, and fish off the boats. Next, we will head out to the Hammond Marina to see the view and where the movie Free Willy's big scene was filmed. Additionally, we will visit the Peter Iredale Shipwreck, South Jetty, and Battery Russell. You might catch a glimpse of an elk!

Katie was great! A native of the area, you could tell she really loves this place, and is proud of the history here. We really enjoyed seeing the shipwreck and the ocean, as well as learning about Lewis and Clark and walking in the beautiful forest. I think it was really nice that she wanted to cater the tour to your needs and interests. She took us to some places that we weren’t even listed, and gave us some local recommendations of places to go when we were done!

Discovering Warrenton and Astoria, Oregon, with Onward Adventures was a highlight of our trip! We had a fantastic time! Our tour guide, Katie Earl (a native of Astoria), was exceptional and provided us with a deep understanding of the area's rich history and nature. She showed us hidden gems we would have otherwise missed. We visited iconic landmarks like the Astoria Column, the wreck of Peter Iredale, historic homes, experienced the scenic coastline, and saw up close the spawning salmon at Young River and wild elk in Hammond. Katie went above and beyond to make our tour memorable and personalized, like providing us with local souvenirs and restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend Onward Adventures and Katie for an enjoyable and informative tour of Astoria and the surrounding area.

Since she's a local, she knows so many fun facts and unique trivia. She is really flexible and loves to cater to each individual tour group. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Kate!
