Aurora Camp is located on a hilltop near Murphy Dome, a top Northern Lights viewing spot near Fairbanks, favored by Aurora photographers. The cabin sits in an area with wide-open views, free from light pollution or any obstructions, offering a full panoramic view of the Northern Lights. Relax in a cozy Alaskan-style cabin with six large windows providing over 180° of stunning views while enjoying hot chocolate in comfort.

* 1,500 sq ft new cabin, built in summer 2023
* Free portrait photography
* Indoor restroom
* Unlimited hot chocolate, coffee, tea, snacks, board games, etc.

Tour Options:
* With transfer (pickup and drop-off): Available from all Fairbanks and North Pole hotels, Airbnbs, etc.
* No transfer: Drive your rental car to the cabin. The roads are well-maintained and in good condition.

Please note, the Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Rescheduling is available based on availability and weather. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

Ia nice place to wait for Aurora lights. The service provide plenty of hot drinks and snacks in comfortable sitting. One thing made us terrible was karaoke very annoying. A couple of persons sang as all other people sufferred loud noise for hours.

Exceptional aurora camping tour! The house is warm and nice! Incredible location atop the mountain! The inversion layer keeps temperatures surprisingly mild, allowing for prolonged enjoyment of the stunning auroras without the discomfort of extreme cold. A perfect setting to fully immerse yourself in the magical display of the Northern Lights. The house is built on the top of a mountain The host's kindness made the cloudy first night unforgettable. Just when we thought there is no aurora that night and the host drove us back to hotel, he surprised us with a spontaneous stop, capturing a slight but magical display of aurora. He also took professional photos for us! The second night's clear sky treated us a mesmerizing aurora outbreak! The host's vigilant monitoring and photography tips added to the memorable adventure. He asked all of us to see the aurora just when the outbreak starts. Highly recommend for aurora enthusiasts!

It was wonderful experience. Especially the cabin is super cool where we could see Aurora’s from windows. Hosts are super friendly and welcoming.
