We enjoyed our trip to Gettysburg. Our driver Gary was great. We just sat back and enjoyed the ride from D.C. to Gettysburg. It included the tickets for the movie, a viewing of the Gettysburg diorama, The Museum, and a two-hour bus tour of the battled field with a certified battlefield guide. Gary dropped us off for lunch by the roundabout in Gettysburg. We went to a small bar and grill and had one of the best meals of our vacation. Returning to D.C., we stopped at the Pentagon 9/11 memorial. A beautiful sacred place we feel fortunate to have experienced it. The Car may seem a little expensive, but with the price of renting a car, paying for parking, and driving D.C. traffic, we are delighted we found this option.

Gettysbyrg Military Park & Museum gets all 3 stars - excellent visit there but I would go with another operator or guide yourself Our tour was provided by Jupiter Tours and the driver expected us to leave the Park at 2.30pm to be back in DC by 4.15pm when the tour booking confirmation said the end of tour was 6pm. You would need to stay at Park until around 4pm to see everything. Rude and bad tempered driver as a result of this.

Dear Customer, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about our service. According to our investigation, the guide made continuous explanation about one hour on the vehicle until customers felt tired. As our itinerary described the Gettysburg National Military Park will stay 4hours and Gettysburg Downtown will stay 1 hour, total 5 hours, with the addition of the journey to and back, the total time of the tour will be 8-10 hours. We arrived the parking lot about 9:30am, and bought the ticket at 9:38, so the tour will finish at about 2:30pm, but you want back at 3:30pm, that was already beyond our itinerary time, but our guide still waited you until 3:40pm. Also, we are supposed to send you back to your pick-up location, but our guide finally sent you back to your hotel and provided free bottled water to you, we do not think a rude and bad-tempered guide will provide these extra services for customers. Still, we are so sorry for any inconvenience to you. Our tour end time will depend on the traffic situation that day, we can not control the traffic situation, so there is no information states that the tour end time is 6pm, could you provide us picture that your tour booking confirmation said the end of tour was 6pm, we need to investigate what’s the problem is. You could send to [email protected]. Thank you for your support.

I brought my two teenage sons on the tour and we had a fantastic time. The visitor center and museum were amazing and the battlefield tour was terrific. We spent time downtown which was really nice. Jason did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend this tour and Jason!
