I had a great experience, although it was different than what I thought. To me, "resort" means "big and swanky (snobby)". This was more like a very nice camp with a wide variety of activities. All the activities besides the hot springs and pool are extra, which is fine, but come prepared. There is a nice restaurant available and a snack bar and gift shop in the activities center. Unfortunately, the ice museum was closed. I had fun seeing the huskies, hiking, and enjoying the springs. Our guide, Clark, was very knowledgeable regarding Alaska and Alaskan history.
