I used to go riding at a Dude Ranch in Tucson when I was a teen. I thought it was time to end that drought. I rode with my husband and we both had a great time. Our leader was knowledgeable, the horses very trail friendly (we are both over 65) and the desert never disappoints.. We were both very happy with the experience.. I little hard to find, but they sent good directions out the morning of the ride.

The ride and the wrangler and guides were great. Had a terrible time finding it tho. No signage so I went past it several times.

We love horseback riding when we are on vacation. So we are still beginners. Our tour guide was very sensitive to our needs and we took the horses on a 2 hour walk which was just perfect! The trail through the park was beautiful. The horses were very gentle and responded well to us.
