I am giving this a poor rating due to Marie, the tour guide at the farm house. The admission is $18 for adults to tour both houses and the museum. When we arrived, there was a bus load of children touring the farm house. The lady at the ticket counter told us not to worry that they squeeze the kids in between the other tours and that our tour would take place at 11:30. As we were walking to the house, the ticket agent rand out and told us that we might have to wait about ten minutes. We waited at the house as instructed and another cauple joined us. Marie came out at 11:50 and rudely told us that we had to wait until the 12;30 tour. She was not going to do an 11:30 tour. She told us to go the rock house and then come back. We were not pleased because we had been waiting for the farm house tour and we had to rush to get to the rock house. The rock house tour ran past its' time, so then we were late for the farm tour, but the other couple were locked out and had to come back at 1:30. The tours were ok but the guides both said they couldn't remember some things. I noticed Marie was touching a number of the items in the home even though signs said not to touch anything. She did not wear gloves. Pictures are not allowed but several people took photos anyway. The museum is really nice but we had to rush through it because we had a five hour drive ahead of us. I really wish they would charge separately for the house and museum tours because I wouldn't have gone to the houses but for $18, I felt I should see it all.
The gift shop is reasonably priced.
