Enjoy a prime opportunity to see humpback whales as they migrate through Hawaiian waters from Alaska between December and May. Setting out from Kihei, cruise to an area off the southern end of Maui with one of Hawaii's highest whale populations. You’ll travel in a large, sturdy raft that provides a speedy ride so you can maximize your viewing time. Learn about the whales from informative commentary provided by an onboard naturalist on this tour limited to 20, a smaller group size than most whale tours.

Fantastic trip. Very knowledgeable crew. Saw dozens of whales up close. Have been on larger boats but truly loved the smaller boat close to the water.

Absolutely wonderful trip! Waves were crazy when leaving so timing needed to be spot on. On our turn to leave, our raft was flagged almost immediately after passing the break wall/rocks by a boat that had stalled out, just past the rocks. The two operators on the boat acted immediately and with precision to not only save that boat but ensure everyone on their raft were safe (they truly only had minutes before the next big waves rolled in, which would of resulted in that boat crashing on the rocks). So once that excitement was done we navigated around looking for males, which we found quite quickly. We had a wonderful display of 5-6 males. Highly recommend Redline rafting, for their professionalism, apparent love of the environment, and also for their integrity in doing the right thing.

Great view of a few entertaining whales. Lots of breaching going on. Would have rated a five if there was an actual seat for everyone on the raft. The captain and Jake (assistant) were very knowledgeable and comical as well.
