Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Jeff was great, he let us float in the water for most of the trip. We spent a lot of time standing around in the heat from the time we got off the bus until we were able to get on the raft which in turn made our floating experience rushed.

My favorite part of the trip was the splash and dash because you were able to interact with other rafters and tour guides. You were able to cool off!
