I found this place on Trip Advisor while planning our vacation for Labor Day weekend.The reason we had to use them was because we waited too long to book our Alcatraz Trip and were sold out unless you did a combo package like this one. They are one of the few Bike Rental places that offer a bike rental and Alcatraz combo package that you can do on your own and are not part of a group tour! Which is a BONUS! You get to dictate what time your pick up your bike and what day! You also can rent your bike one day and go to Alcatraz on a different date. . I highly recommend you do that, this way you can enjoy both! We picked up our bicycles on Saturday and went to Alcatraz on a Monday. The con with this option is that you have to go back to their shop and pick up your tickets for Alcatraz on the day that your going. You can't get your tickets early! I asked! This was very inconvenient for us, since we didn't have our own transportation. The other con is that with this package you only get your bike for 4 hours. The website says its a day rental but it isn't. We had to pay an extra $14 since we returned the Bikes late. The staff member did give us a deal on the overage but i felt that the $59.99 per person cost should include more than just a few hours. We also never got our free water. When I asked for one, they told me the cost.

Our local friends recommended this place for its location and price while I was visiting with a friend. My friend and I rented hybrid bikes for a very reasonable price. If you reserve the bikes online or call, you save some money. The staff member adjusted the seats for us and let us try them out before taking off. (If you check in to the store through facebook or foursquare, you get a free bottle of water). The rental includes a helmet, bike lock, and there is a pouch at the front of the bike with a map attached (great spot to put a purse, wallet, snacks or water bottle). We rode across the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito (beautiful place and great for an ice cream treat) and came back on the ferry. Unfortunately, we got very lost. What was supposed to be a 15 minute ride back turned into an hour and a half. To make matters worse, our phones died on the way back. We finally arrived to the shop an hour after it closed. The staff member stayed late and was extremely kind and only charged us a small fee. We offered to buy him a drink or something but he declined. His kindness was a great way to turn around our frustrating ride back to the shop. I would highly recommend this place due to its great price and kind and understanding staff. If you make it there, say hi to Lola (the adorable dog we saw napping in the shop). Enjoy!
