For the entirety of this narrated tour, you’ll navigate and captain your own speedboat while following a trained and knowledgeable guide in a different boat. There is a two-way communication system mounted in each boat, so you'll be able to hear your guide throughout the tour. This speedboat adventure is a great way to see beautiful Tampa Bay from the water!

My husband, niece and my 80 year old mother and myself had this adventure and HIGHLY recommend it for EVERYONE!!!! Anyone can sit on one of the lovely beaches in this area, but to experience the beaches and the islands and the NATURE from the water..is AMAZING!!! Captain Chris and Captain Tony give great instruction and explain everything you need to operate these speedboats. 2 people per boat, (at one point they will give you the opportunity to switch drivers if you want, so both of you can be the Captain of the boat if you wish.) Captain Tony took us out in a convoy style..going from a slow speed to a nice fast (but safe) speed .and there is a radio in each boat so we could hear Captain Tony as he told us the history, pointed out the wildlife (we saw quite a few dolphins) and gave us instructions or warnings to keep us safe..we will do this again, and again! If you go..tell them hi from Nancy & Peter!!

What an amazing time! This was a great way to spend our days in the sun. My husband and I drove our own boats with our 10 and 14 year old kids. They are still talking about the great fun that they had. The staff at Speed Boat Adventures were amazing. I personally had never driven a boat, that was not a problem. The boats were very clean and operated well. I will recommend this adventure to my family and friends in the Clearwater and Orlando area. This is a can't miss opportunity if you are in the area and want to see the area from your own boat with the guided tour. We saw dolphins while we were out and when we returned near the dock. Don't forget to put the ring on the hook to win a free t-shirt! This needs to move to the #1 thing to do in St. Pete!

My husband & I had the time of our lives! By far the best adventure we have had besides riding our Harley in Florida. Cant wait to bring friends & family back - Guides were professional & informative as well as very helpful & friendly! Thank You, for a great time!!!!! Great Value for a 2 hour tour with instruction.
