Apgar Visitor Center

Enjoy the historic area of Apgar Village. View the crystal clear waters of Lake McDonald, stroll around the area and learn about the history of the park. Admission is included upon purchase of your National Park Pass at the entry.

Thanks to Whitefish Outfitters and our awesome tour guide, Lori. We really appreciated the quick response on our request for a private tour and so enjoyed our time exploring West Glacier. Lori was so knowledgeable about the area - it his her home! - and we could feel the love of this park and area from her. She made our day extra fun and was patient with all of our questions and requests to stop along the way! We loved learning about both the natural environment as well as the history and way of life in this part of our beautiful country. We highly recommend Lori and Whitefish Outfitters. Thanks! Whitefish Outfitters were super easy to work with and organize a great day of exploring Glacier Nat’l Park. We are beginner hikers and spent the day with our guide, Joel. He was very professional and knowledgeable, provided us with many interesting facts about the park and it’s surroundings. The vehicle was comfortable and we didn’t have to worry about vehicle registration, entrance fees or parking, so relaxing for all. They even provide snacks and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommended ~ ask for Joel, he was awesome!

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Lori our guide. Just my husband and I with her. Great personalized service. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She took us to a couple quieter places. And we still ended up seeing 2 bear cubs. Had a nice lunch at Pole bridge and great stops along the way. Didn't feel rushed at all. Lori was wonderful. Great tour (even if Going to the Sun Road was covered up in snow).
