Apgar Visitor Center

Enjoy the historic area of Apgar Village. View the crystal clear waters of Lake McDonald, stroll around the area and learn about the history of the park. Admission is included upon purchase of your National Park Pass at the entry.

Our day was awesome. Tom was amazing and knew exactly how to make our day super! We decided last minute to add in e bikes and the company could not have been more accommodating. And the e bikes were an amazing addition to the day!!

Our two guides--Garth and Maddie--were very warm, welcoming people. They were able to fit all 11 of us in one van which made it fun to be together. The trip to the Hungry Horse dam was interesting and Glacier National Park is a beautiful place. They tailored our trip to include a hike in the park also. We wanted more statistics and information about what we were seeing, however. We felt that the guides did not provide us with enough information about what we were viewing. We constantly were asking questions to gain more information. Also, a speaker system in the van would have been helpful because the people in the back could not hear anything. Also, our son-in-law is a mechanic and he sat in the far back of the van; he said that the van needed new rear shocks and some roads were bumpy especially up to Poleridge. He ended up with a back ache for a couple days after the trip. Overall, ease of reservations, friendly staff, and beautiful views but would suggest tour guides give more statistics using a speaker in their van.

Hello and thank you for your informative review. That North Fork Road is ROUGH, we don't disagree with you there. While we do preform regular maintenance on all of our vehicles, we'll be sure to give your van another look. Information and passion is important to us, which is why we send our guides home with a myriad of information and training on the park and the surrounding areas. We're sad to have missed the mark for you guys and do take your observation to heart. We'll follow up with each of our guides to ensure they're passing along all the important info to our future clients. We were referred to this company by Good Medicine Lodge. Can’t begin to relate how happy we were with their service. Jess in the office planned everything for us from tours to dinner reservations. We had Larry as are guide for 2 excursions-Glacier Park and the Bison Range. If you are lucky enough to get Larry as your guide you are in for a treat. Friendly, knowledgeable and funny. If you are planning a trip to Glacier Park let Whitefish Outfitters do the work. They are amazing
