We are so glad we did this tour. It ended up being just the two of us and Dylan, our kayaking guide, so we were basically on a private tour! I loved that it was a small group and Dylan was an excellent guide. He knew so much about the manatees and other wildlife we saw, and was also so knowledgeable about the area in general. We saw SO MANY manatees and you really get close to them in the kayaks. The area you kayak through is beautiful as well. I would definitely do this again. Tip: Be mindful of the time it takes to get to the kayak launch site and give yourself a few minutes of buffer time in case you are running late. The launch spot could be hard to find if you aren't paying attention!

Had a great time kayaking on the Indian River. We saw manatees, a dolphin and an alligator! Ryan is very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out various birds and plants in addition to making sure we saw the manatees. An enjoyable experience!

We were staying in Orlando but wanted a day outside the parks so we booked a manatee/dolphin tour with BK Adventures. Our tour was on 1/8/18 at 1 PM and it was 4 members of our family and another couple, so it was a small group. Our guide Ryan was awesome - very knowledgeable and engaging and he made it a really fun time! We saw a dolphin right near the beach where we launched the kayaks. We also saw a number of stingrays. The kayaking though the mangrove channels was really cool, and we saw a lot of interesting and beautiful birds. Unfortunately the uncommonly cold weather in the week or so before our visit must have effected the location of the manatees, because we did not see any, which Ryan said is very unusual. We had a great time nonetheless, and we highly recommend BK Adventures and Ryan. Good times!
