This wonderful Colorado River float trip is a gently flowing section that is inviting to all ages. You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half day trip is available two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium on this trip.

Made some great family memories. Our guide, Ken was entertaining and knowledgeable about the area. It was pretty tame but we knew that going into it so just enjoyed the scenery. It was a good intro to rafting and looking forward to class 3-4 next time.

Our timing was perfect! While it poured rain in Breckenridge we went rafting an hour away out of Kremmling. We had beautiful sunny day conditions. The staff was knowledgeable and very entertaining. Great group of guides! We had a blast and laughed a lot too! The scenery on the river is just gorgeous!! DO IT!! It’s easy, relaxing and good for your soul 💚🌲🌲🦅

This year there was more water in the river than usual. Our ride along the river was therefore longer, a full 18 miles. The water was 55 degrees and we got soaked many times, but the air felt warm and dry and we dried up pretty quickly. This was an enjoyable experience, and the organization was good.
