We took the trolley form old port. We hop-on Hop off the trolley twice. All the guides were quite seasoned. They explained very well the history and the information about different spots/buildings of the city. I strongly recommend tourist to take this trolley the very first day of their visit to the city. It is worth. All the important spots of the city that needs to be seen, trolley covered them.

We started our trolley tour at Seaport Village. If you park in the lot there be sure to have them valadate your ticket to avoid a shock later when you pay. The total time depends on how much time you spent off the trolley. This is definately a whole day experience. Included with the price are free admission to 10 museums, discount coupons to attractions and resturants and hop on & off at 10 trolley stops. The driver points out many highlights on the trip and includes a lot of San Diego history. Well worth the price.

Since it was our last day before our cruise we decided to HOHO for a last view of the city’s highlights. We paid a $10 deposit at the hotel with balance due on trolley. We had to wait about 45 mins for the first trolley. After that we stayed and listened to our driver who was very informative and funny. We did exit in Little Italy where the driver recommended a restaurant that was delicious. Your last stop is Old Town where we actually paid the balance for tickets. You can walk around and shop until ready to catch next trolley. We did only wait about 15 min for the trolley in Little Italy. I wish we had more to time to exit at other stops but was happy we got a quick view.
