My husband and I love to kayak, so we contacted Las Olas Paddle to set up a rental. The area around their store is under construction, so the owner Tim arranged to meet us at Victoria Park. We did not see much wildlife, but it was a lot of fun paddling around the 7 islands canals and checking out the beautiful homes and boats there. The only challenging spot was crossing through the intercoastal waterway because a lot boats come though and leave wakes. Tim gave us waterproof cases for our phones, which was a nice touch.

Hey thanks for kayaking with us!! I agree the boat traffic in the Intracoastal and New River can be a bit much especially weekends and holidays. Luckily MOST of the time we have access to easy canals with little or no boat traffic. Hope to see you again!!!

Amazing day with great weather; Kayak101 was explicit and this first time kayaker had an awesome time.

I had been kayaking before so after a short land demonstration we were off. It was a little tough at first getting out to the channels because we were also with paddle boarders but once we were there it was smooth sailing. We were told of several different routes to take and the time requirements and they were right on the money. The views were spectacular seeing the waterfront homes and their yachts. Great way to spend a few hours and the price can't be beat. Highly recommend!
