The tour meanders slowly through this neighborhood under the branches of the beautiful old live oak trees draped in Spanish Moss. Most of the Antebellum & Victorian Houses & lovely little cottages are located in the Old Point Neighborhood of Beaufort.

St. Helena's Anglican Church
Our guest will here the role the church played in Beaufort's History from its founding in 1712, they will see the grave yard from the carriage and hear about some of Beaufort's founding fathers, & soldiers who gave there all who are buried there.

We've been to Beaufort and walked around old Beaufort many times over the years but this was our first time to take the carriage ride. I'm so glad we did. Not only was it much cooler than walking, it was a super informative, relaxing, and fun tour. Sorry I can't remember their names but our driver and guide were superb, and "Captain", our beautiful steed, couldn't have been better. You can tell he was much loved and well cared for. Although we had seen the pre-Civil War homes before, we now know much more about their history, as well as history of the whole area. A very entertaining and informative tour that I highly recommend.

Booked an early tour and were lucky enough to be the only two passengers. Our guides were Anastasia and Blaze. Anastasia had a wealth of knowledge to impart which she delivered in a lively and dramatic style with a good dollop of southern humour and charm. Blaze is a lovely obedient horse who treated us to a very pleasant and comfortable ride around this beautiful town. A big thank-you to everyone concerned

Our tour guide (wish I knew her name!) was excellent and shared an amazing amount of information, and charming tales while sweet talking the beautiful horse who pulled us along like we were weightless!
