The 1692 Salem Historical Day Tour will meet at the Hermetic Arts Center at 272 Essex St. Your Guide will check you in, and the tour will start at the corner of Essex and Sewell St. From there, you will continue down Essex St. to the Witch House. As you walk through Salem to visit each historical site, you will hear a jaw-dropping story covering Salem's history before the trials, what caused the witch hysteria, who were the Judges and Accusers, how residents responded to the accusations, who were the 20 victims, and how the trials came to an end. The tour and guide were fantastic! The best part of our visit to Salem. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and familiar with the witch trials and back stories of those involved. I learned lots of information I was not aware of. Would definitely take the tour again and have already recommended this specific tour to others, including locals.

Jeff is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable historian of Salem. I loved that he pointed out the lessons to be learned from that turbulent time in history. He also is very honest about what is truly known and what is speculation. I’d take this tour again! Really a Great bargain for the $.

Jeff was absolutely awesome! Ask for him! He was born and raised in Salem grew up with a passion for Salem's history. He's fun, well spoken with the REAL historical facts about the trials. We have seen several tours in the past I highly recommend this tour. Took us all around Salem. Don't look anywhere else best walking tour ever!
