Amory may not have been up on all his historical facts, but he gave us a great tour of sites in Monument Valley and Mystic Valley with descriptions passed down from his grandmother and other elders. We got a history of how the company was started by a woman who lived on the reservation and employs guides who also live on the reservation. Amory also performed a song in Navajo. But, he also knew the photography spots, showed us how to use the different filters on my I-phone, and took some nice photographs of us. We toured Mystic Valley in the morning, had a tasty lunch at The View restaurant, and toured Monument Valley in the afternoon.
