  • Maid of the Mist is available from mid-May until mid-October. Please have in mind that the start of the summer season is subject to weather conditions.
  • Hotel Accommodations: Ramada by Wyndham Hotel or for travelers that must remain in the USA side, Comfort Inn “The Pointe” or similar. Please note specific hotels mentioned not guaranteed
  • Wheelchair accessible transportation must be requested in advance
  • All passengers are required to have proper identification when entering or leaving the United States. For entry to Canada, it is the passenger’s responsibility to make sure in advance that visa requirements are met
  • Passengers without the proper travel documents to cross and enter Canada can still join this tour. In such event, the passenger will remain at the hotel on the United States side of the Falls and will not join any part of the tour that will take place in the Canadian territory. You will be able to join the boat ride on the Maid of the Mist as this departs from the American side of the Falls. You will get to see the American Falls and the Canadian Falls from the boat. During the winter months, when the Maid of the Mist is not operating, you will be able to walk to the Falls on your own. There are no substitute attractions on the America side of the Falls. Outlet shopping is located on the American side and does not require a Canadian visa or passport

Trip was wonderful. Would highly recommend it. We stopped at Watkins Glen on the way. This is an amazing place to see. We stopped on the American side of the Falls for a walk around and photo stop, then headed off to the Canadian side to our Hotel. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a spa room. We all went our own way for dinner and all met for breakfast, which was quite substantial. After breakfast we headed to the falls, which was amazing. We then boarded the Maid of the Mist and got right down amongst the falls. We then departed and headed back to New York with a shopping stop on the way. Our tour guide Michael and bus driver Gilbert were awesome.

Niagara was excellent, especially the early morning start in Canada when it just seemed to be us and the water - this made it all worth it. The overall organisation was truly awful; Natasha was quite dismissive, although much better than Diego who asked me more than once if I was even with him! They weren't communicating with each other well and told the different speaking groups they were translating for different information about meeting times - very unhelpful! The bus was late every time, so we didn't get to the hotel in Canada until after dark and having missed dinner reservations for the group - this was mainly due to queues at customs, but compounded by shoddy organisation. A frustrating experience from the messy start to the day - no-one knew what the hell was going on or where they should be! - to waiting to get the bus back from the shopping mall nearly an hour late, knowing damn well the driver had his feet up as we could see him over the road stood with Diego who had refused to answer questions about where the bus was, up to the point where he phoned the driver and went and stood over the road with him for a cigarette for half an hour! Great views, terrible organisation, rubbish guides.

Really Poor do not book!
Very old unroadworthy bus - arrived late - day one had to stop for unspecified technical problem and broken air con, day two had to stop again for broken air con and blown tyre.
Very poor hotel, peeling wallpaper, dirty ceilings and furniture in room and poor position.
Unlike the advert suggests we did not arrive in Niagara in the afternoon, instead we arrived at our hotel at 10pm so no time to enjoy the evening there.
Basically the tour operator is running this trip on a shoestring to save costs and instead of being a pleasant two day excursion it was a very long wiinded drag.
Do go to Niagara it is fantastic but whatever you do do not use this tour to visit.
