This is a MUST-DO when visiting the area! The ranch is absolutely beautiful with terrain varying from high dessert to wooded mountains. Our guide, Josh, was professional, fun, safety minded and kept us informed on our upcoming trail experience and how to best ride it. Be sure to bring your pack with water, a light jacket and wear jeans and sturdy shoes.

It was very exciting for us!! For us to do something out of the norm as a family and believe me it was not a waste! It was amazing! To be able to drive the Atv’s to beautiful views on mountain tops! The view and the history lesson along the way was awesome! I definitely recommend and we give it a 10/10!!!

My 17yo daughter accompanied me for the two-hour tour and can't imagine a better first-time experience. Great place for beginners to learn the functions of an ATV and lots of pre-board instruction was provided. We started slow and settled in quickly. Averaged 15-20mph which was plenty for us in the winding turns with a few steep drop-offs on one side. Where so many tourist destinations have so many roped-off areas, the Bair Ranch is really up there in the open air! Parts of the ATV trails are right on the edge and you need to stay focused because there are no guardrails to stop you if don't pay attention! But, the trails are very well maintained so we didn't ever have a feeling of tipping over or losing control and I never even used the handbrake until needing to come to a full stop. The motor throttle slows down the vehicle plenty just by letting it loose a bit when you want to go slower. Eric was a great guide stopping periodically to tell us how to drive the upcoming terrain. They had a full supplies room to provide helmets and gloves and even ski goggle if you didn't have sunglasses, none of which was extra charge. Sunglasses and helmet were plenty and the path was not dusty at all. When we asked about restrooms at the end, we too were made known of its shortcomings. But, that was okay. We were not there to marvel over the restrooms and just left from there. The ATVing and guide were great, with one of the highlights being able to walk inside a real homesteader's rickety old log house near the top of the trail! Highly recommend and we will be back in the spring to do the 3-hour tour for sure. Note: We were the only ATV group that day and we had to manually open the 2nd gate (the first gate you get a code for to enter the premises). When we got to the 3rd gate, there were 20 or so of their horses blocking the gate! We thought that was great fun and just called the phone number and Eric came to our rescue! Great start to the tour and the fun just continued from there.
