Our tour guide Jim did a great job bringing the history of Charleston alive. We got mixed up on directions and he called us and patiently waited for us to hustle back over to meet up with the group. The tour was informative and entertaining. Jim answered all of our questions or suggested how we might find out more. The tour was well worth the price and I would highly recommend Jim and the tour to anyone visiting Charleston.

We took this tour with Alexandra. She provided much interesting information about the history of Charleston as well as many of the buildings we saw. She tried to stop in areas with shade. We did not get a view of Fort Sumter (as mentioned in the description) and our tour was one hour, 40 minutes long (not two hours as indicated in the description).

Thank you PointePrincessmom for taking the time to post your comments. We are so happy that you enjoyed the content of the the tour! Because of the high temperatures in Charleston in the summer, our tour guides usually check in with guests at the 1.5 hour mark to make sure everyone is doing ok and on your particular tour, Alexandra decided to end 15 minutes early at the request of the other guests. Alexandra did offer to extend the tour to the 2 hour mark but did not have any takers. Apologies for the confusion about the points of interest that are included. Each of our guides has different routes through the historic district and occasionally the points of interest can vary depending on the weather, group size, traffic, construction etc. We encourage all of our guests to discuss with their tour guide any points of interest they are particularly interested in seeing prior to the start of the tour. We do hope to have the pleasure of your company again the next time you are in town. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in our beautiful city!

I did this tour with Bill and it was one of the best tours I've been on. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the city and kept things entertaining. He was also very considerate about finding shade to stop in as it was a very humid morning. I would highly recommend this tour.
