Our 10:00 am tour was an amazing change from the busy amusement parks, quite, peaceful, surrounded by a Cypress Forest with plenty of wildlife; Including lots of birds, turtles, four wild hogs and one shy alligator. A very unique experience, very up close and personal with the wildlife, trees and plants (it really felt like an ecco tour). Our guide Jenifer was extremely knowledgeable and keen on pointing out the many different species of plants and animals we encountered.

We were in Kissammee for a family reunion last week and decided to book a 2-hour kayak trip for 14 or us (ages ranging from 12 to 91!). This company did an awesome job with the whole gang, between making sure everyone knew how to paddle, being great with the kids, and making sure Grandma and Grandpa were safely stowed in their kayaks. They had great equipment, provided waters for the trip, and had 2 guides for our group so that everyone could hear well, with on in the front and one in the back. Alex, one of our guides, was especially fabulous in spotting wildlife (alligators, snake, turtles, birds...), explaining things, and with the kids (and introduced them to his pet snake after the trip was over -big hit with the kids!). The kayak trip itself was beautiful- a quite little oasis where you wouldn't expect it. Highly recommend.

My husband & I (age 60) took the afternoon kayak paddle on Shingle Creek with Stephanie, our guide. Shingle Creek is a beautiful piece of pristine nature -- a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Orlando and the parks. We are novice kayakers, but Stephanie made us feel very comfortable and we didn't have much trouble with our tandem kayak. The creek and surrounding forest (including the cypress forest area) are beautiful. Stephanie is very knowledgeable, and was able to tell us about most everything. We saw several alligators ( a mother & babies, and several smaller ones), lots of beautiful turtles, birds, and other wildlife. This was a very memorable trip; it should be a part of many more travelers' itinerary.
