We take off from the Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa and zoom quickly by the Amalie Arena. From there, we coast onto the Tampa Riverwalk, which follows the majestic Hillsborough River to the scenic Curtis Hixon Park. Take in panoramic views of the city and the bay and return to the Embassy Suites to round out your tour.

We have done Segway many times around the world and I have to say this was the LEAST informative tour ever. Danny is a nice kid but only explained 2-3 locations. Had to ask about a few things. At 2 locals we were told to look around. On other tours the guide always explained things and went with you to "look around". We were rained delayed on our 2 hour ride and only got in 90 minutes (still plenty of time to get it in). When asked if we would be refunded for the missing half hour the answer was a simple No. So not impressed with the tour at all. If your a veteran Segway person I would pass on this location.

Hi! Yes, you were rain delayed and your 5:30pm tour started officially out the door, after training and rain at 6:15pm. You finished at 7:45pm (which you disclosed in an email) and it does state that the training time is included in the tour time on our website and on Trip Advisor meaning tours are typically 1.5 hours to 1.75 hours depending on the length of training. We did issue a partial refund to the card on file through Trip Advisor so that part of your review is inaccurate. Sorry you felt you did not catch us on our best day, rain tends to put a damper on things as we were also trying to dodge the remnants of a later storm that eve and we thank you for choosing Magic Carpet Glide Segway Tours.

Our tour guide (Baird?) was great. Easy going, made the trip fun. We had some issues with a couple of the Segway, he just worked all the harder to make sure we were taken care of. He deserves a raise!

Danny was awesome! Such a nice guy that is patient and friendly with everyone. Brought my son with me and Danny ensured he was comfortable and safe. A fun tour around the city to check out the sights. If you're visiting I'd recommend doing this in the beginning of your trip so you can check out some places that you can go back to and spend more time at during your visit.
