It truly was amazing! We were picked up at our hotel in National Harbor and given the highlight of our trip. Dexter didn't miss a beat--even when traffic was backed up at the Lincoln Memorial, he went smoothly around it and brought us back later. Waited patiently while we looked at the memorial, and offered to take us where we wanted after seeing the main attractions. The customizable element worked well for us, and it was cheaper with our group of four than it would have been taking a large group tour. Don't worry about this being legit Dexter is a very nice older gentleman. We were a bit concerned about getting in a van with a stranger, but soon eased shortly after meeting him. Don't pass this opportunity! There's a reason he has so many 5-star ratings.

Pick-up was at 7:30 late July....some sites were tooo dark to view at night.....need to prioritize the best sites to see at dusk vs night.....even if one ha to back track.

Our guide,Dexter's, knowledge and side bar insight brought D.C. To life! Fabulous tour and an even better tour guide. Dexter was interesting,accommodating, and very informative.
Definitely recommend the night tour. Hit all the hot spots and enjoyed them at our leisure.
