Did you know Denver was founded over a barrel of whiskey? On this 3 hour Colorado Whiskey tour you will learn about Whiskies and their role in the founding of the city. On this walking tour you will visit Denver's oldest Irish Pub, a modern day saloon, and a local Denver distillery. Along the way you will sample different whiskies, learn how high altitude distilling is different than anywhere else and learn some light local history. We did this tour for my boyfriends birthday and had an amazing time! If you love visiting cool bars, learning about the history of the city, and drinking great whiskey, you will love this tour! Be sure not to drive there! 😁

This was my fourth Denver food/drink tour and I've also lived in Colorado my whole life, but I still learned some interesting new facts and history! I especially appreciated our tour guide Will's use of photos to help us visualize how each area we walked through has changed over the years. The whiskey element was also excellent. We got to try a nice variety and ended on the very cool experience of touring Mountain High Spirits distillery!

A fun experience. This was my first walking tour and I would highly recommend. Learned some interesting facts about old Denver. Our guide, Will, allowed us to sample great whiskeys not just once, but plentiful times. If you like whiskey, give this tour a shot.
