We came down to Navy Pier for a day of adventures with the grandkids. Our plan was to do the speed boat first. There was no line for the tickets. We would have liked to have gone out on the red Speedog V, which is the faster boat, but my 3 year old granddaughter was about six inches too short. We went out on the first cruise of the day on 1 Jul 19, and, I believe, Capt Swag was on the bridge. Our tour guide was quite nice and did a great job of being interactive with those on board. Naturally, the thrill of going fast is even better when there is some good rock music going and this was no exception. The kids were seat dancing which is no easy feat, if you're seat buckled in. As we were coming back to the mooring, the crew played "Baby Shark" which had all the kids singing. It was a fun way to spend the morning. All of the staff, especially, the crew was really nice, helpful and informative. Now, if I can just get "Baby Shark" out of my head after two days!
